About Us


Stonehouse Community Church has only just started meeting at Maidenhill School on Sundays - before this we were known as Stonehouse Baptist Church and held our services at the church building on Gloucester Road but we have outgrown our premises and are enjoying a new adventure. We are still part of ‘Baptists Together’ and ‘Churches Together in Stonehouse’.

We are not a church that "has it all together" or that seeks to provide a polished and perfect worship service – but we are ordinary people of all ages, learning, following and worshipping an extra ordinary God and everyone is welcome to join us.

Things that matter to us are * kindness and friendship * prayer * sincere worship * sharing our faith in a real and unforced way * learning to understand the Bible * healing * making room for the Holy Spirit * forgiveness and reconciliation.
